Day 1 - delhi

On your arrival at the Airport after clearing the immigration formalities and baggage collection, proceed towards the arrival hall were you will be welcomed by our driver and will be transferred to Delhi hotel. Check in to hotel. Enjoy a city tour of Delhi later. You can visit Raj Ghat and drive past Jama Masjid or the Red Fort. If you have the time, stop by Chandni Chowk’s local market. Visit Qutub Minar in the afternoon. The Lotus Temple, India Gate, and Akshardham Temple are all included in this tour. You will pass the following landmarks during your tour: The President’s House, Parliament House, and the Government Secretariat Buildings.

Raj Ghat

Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, or also called Palace of the Breeze, is one of the important places to visit in Jaipur. Built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798, Hawa Mahal is a five-storey extension in the form of a honeycomb. This unique building has 953 small windows, called jharokhas, decorated with intricate latticework. The entire palace represents the crown of the Hindu God, Lord Krishna.

Day 2 - Drive Delhi to Agra Via Sikandara

Continue your journey to Agra, another historic and romantic city. En route, visit Sikandara, the mausoleum for Emperor Akbar

Sikandra, built by Sikander Lodi in 1492 as a ruler of one the last dynasties within the Delhi Sultanate. Sikandra was ordered by Mughal Emperor Akbar in his time. This time it was to be built as a location for his mausoleum. However, he died before it could become complete. His son Jehangir completed the work in 1613. It combines Hindu and Muslim architectural styles.

Taj Mahal means “Crown Palace” and is in fact the most well preserved and architecturally beautiful tomb in the world. Sir Edwin Arnold, an English poet, best describes it as “Not a building, as other buildings are but the proud passions and love of an emperor wrought in living stone.” It’s a celebration of marble-clad women and that’s how to appreciate it. The fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal on the banks of River Yamuna in 1631 to honor his second wife Mumtaz Mahal (a Muslim Persian princess).

Day 3: Drive Agra to Jaipur via Fathepur Sikri (250 km 5 hrs.)

Today, continue to Jaipur, the Pink City. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). was India’s political capital during Akbar’s reign (1571-1585). It was then abandoned due to water shortages. In 1571, Mughal emperor Akbar built it in honor of Sufi saint Salim Chishti. Fatehpur Sikri was a capital city and shared imperial duties with Agra. A large portion of the arsenal, treasure hoards and other reserves were kept in its Red Fort for security. It is considered Emperor Akbar’s most important architectural achievement.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Spend a whole day on a sightseeing tour to Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, and City Palace.

Amer Palace Fort

The huge Amer Palace Fort, which is situated on top of a small hill at about 11km from Jaipur’s main city, is one of Jaipur’s most popular tourist attractions. The impressive Amer Fort complex is a large palace complex made with pale yellow and pink Sandstone and white marble. Each section of the fort has its own courtyards.

JANTAR MANTAR

Jantar Mantar in Jaipur has captured the essence of many a wanderlust over the years. An open-air astronomical observatory, this UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the rare and timeless places of attraction in Jaipur, and the world. With an illuminating history that predates modern civilization, this observatory was far ahead of its time and showcased the ancient ways of reading stars and skies.

Hawa Mahal

Hawa Mahal, located just a stones throw from Pink City’s commercial center, is Jaipur’s landmark. This five-story building, also known as the “Palace of Winds”, was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The palace has 953 windows, or ‘Jharokhas’, that are decorated with intricate designs. The complex of Hawa Mahal also contains a small museum that houses important items such as miniature paintings and ceremonial armour.
